Machine Head es una banda estadounidense de heavy metal originaria de Oakland, California. El grupo fue fundado el 12 de octubre de 1991 por Robb Flynn y Adam Duce.¹ Se han producido 4 cambios de integrantes desde su creación y la formación actual de la banda consta de Flynn (voz, guitarra), Duce (bajo), Phil Demmel (guitarra) y Dave McClain (batería). Machine Head es una de las bandas pioneras en la New Wave Of American Heavy Metal.
